Aside from the design and functionality of the actual watch itself, one of the main differences between the Rolex Datejust and the Rolex Submariner is that Rolex offers a number of different options within each collection.

All Rolex Submariner watches are equipped with a 60-minute rotating chronograph bezel. While the vintage Submariner models have aluminum inserts and the vintage reference models have bidirectional bezels, the Rolex Submariner has always featured a 60-minute rotating bezel.
Since the replica Rolex Submariner comes in both date and dateless forms, two different movements can be found inside this generation of the Rolex Submariner. As of September 2020, the Rolex Submariner No-Date is powered by the caliber 3230, while the Submariner Date is powered by the caliber 3235. Both movements are from Rolex’s latest generation of in-house movements, featuring the brand’s proprietary Chronergy escapement and a blue Parachrom hairspring. 
Since its introduction in 1953, the fake Rolex Submariner has only ever been officially offered with the brand’s classic three-link Oyster bracelet. Both the bracelet and the clasp have evolved over the years as Rolex has refined and improved its designs, but the Submariner has never been officially used on any other Rolex bracelet model, such as the Jubilee, President, Pearlmaster, or Oysterflex. The Oyster bracelet is easily the most practical and sporty option Rolex has to offer. It fits perfectly with the Submariner’s purposeful, tool watch aesthetic.
